N900 Apps (not OS) on N8x0

While I understand the N900's OS cannot be compiled to run on the N8x0 due to differences in the hardware platform, the N900 has a number of useful applications, such as its PIM suite, which the N8x0 lacks.

Can the N900 PIM apps be recompiled to run under Diablo?

I went through that thread before posting but I missed Jaffa's reply to your question on Contacts phone numbers. Given that Contacts is apparently closed source, I will assume the PIM apps are going to be closed source as well. Oh well. I guess I'll just wait for Mer (or maybe Android Donut).

I also asked similar questions in other threads. I was interested in a web runtime for the Nxx's but now I'm not sure if the N900 even has one.

Hang in there... There are quite a few like minded members and I'm sure once the N900 gets into their hands we will start to see what is possible.
