Was going to - but when everything was said and done.

$709 - BT headset, free shipping, phone and extra year of nokia repairs etc.

658 - phone, and 3 year warr,

its a wash

Today, I canceled my Nokia pre-order and ordered instead from Amazon. I have confirmation from Amazon.

For some stupid reason, Amazon doesn't ship to Canada for electronic... But i'm hoping that expansys-usa will price match them.

They say they need to price-match to people who have them in stock but this is a pre-order... should i just ask them to wait for amazon to show stock and price match to that price or what !? Sounds like a diversion to me...

What was the procedure you used? I'd like to do the same and it would be helpful to have a cookie-cutter pseudo-script to go by given the difficulties folks have had in the past. Thanks in advance

Edit: just called and cancelled. Just to be sure there wasn't some "competitive vendor" anti-cancel clause, when they asked me the reason for cancelling I told them it was the lack of MMS capability LOL. For those who were following the N900 v Iphone thread, you'll find that amusing/ironic.

Anywho, already put in my amazon order so I should be good to go....and about $120 richer when it's all said and done (I didn't need the bluetooth headset..already have a jawbone). That'll "learn" me for being so impatient hehe.

im betting the price will shoot up to the normal 650 after the preorder is over

Just preordered mine. This is my graduation gift (from myself to myself ...lol). Now we need the release date for this sucker.

I just cancled my NokiaUSA order this morning, the trick is to call the brightpoint number and not the nokia number. Brightpoint is the co. that handles the distribution of the nokia devices.

anyways i now preorderd the product at amazon.com, save 1 bill

Here is the Brightpoint number, make sure to provide the order number and they will cancle no problem

Woohoo! done. Thanks OP.

Hope I don't miss too much not having ATT's 3g. Ive been waiting for a long time for a Smartphone(this is my first). ...and this does alot more.

As always my N800 will always stay with me.

$ 15.99US Shipping (Overnight)
================
$604.98 Total

A $100 savings from the Nokia store. Not too concerned if I have to wait longer(should that be the case).

thank you i kept calling nokia and they told me to call tomorrow at 9am to cancel and i called that number you provided and got it canceled and then ordered from amazon
for 592 i got same day shipping.
