I will volunteer to man it during highly technical sessions that I won't understand. I'll review the list, compare it against the schedule and let you know.

This thread doesn't look like gathering enough energy to man the maemo.org table in the Expo. Let's drop it. There is enough to do and show for the community members willing to get involved.

quim,

mmm how about we do it anyway.

i will man the area for as long as possible on one condition - that the rest of the community do live blogging and reporting from each of the sessions I will miss.

I want to be in all of them anyway and would have to make sacrifices to choose which.
I want to know and read everything thats happening anyway so having an upto date overview would be cool

I don't know... The community will be gathering in that area anyway, so do we need a "formal" table? I like the idea, but Quim is right: no traction at all. And, no one has tried to help gather data for a leaflet either (myself included).

I would do the leaflet, but I guess it depends on if there's consensus in favor of a table (as well as suggestions for content).

Right. That was my original statement here.

i would like somewhere we can focus our efforts on.
i actually missed the thread first time and only suggested it today as the start of an idea, but the more I think about it, the better it would be.

Texrat, go with a flier if you think one is needed, talk with tim about it and together we can man a dedicated table. doesn't need much active content other than the community spirit!

no doubt soon others will get involved

I was speaking to some of the guys behind the Nokia Nush N900 hacking challenge and think having a place for their information alongside would be good.

it gives the hackers a place to get together and discuss ummm hacks and other collaborations.

I'll try to gather the content within the next week.
