    I apogolize.

Rest of the set coming up tomorrow.

If there is support for several icon sets should't joshua finish the set with more colorful Icons that reminded me of thr s60v5 menu icons?
    as he wish...

the theme set would be chosen by editing the config file for now...

These are both good submissions, and I should say that both of you have done amazing jobs. It's a shame that it seems to be coming down to a choice of either or.

Perhaps every other icon should be taken from each submission?

Dunno, I feel bad that in the end some of the work will not get used.

    }:^)~

Haha, no worries, I just want what's best for the app. Keep the ones the other guy did, I can't remember his name off hand, but I think he should add some details and redo the hand!

Well, as I said both works will be used.
I'll implement icon theme support.. it's fairly easy if no UI is involved.
You just have to change a line in the config saying something like:

    theme="default"

and change default with the theme name.
I'll expect icons in the directory:

    XOURNAL_DATA_DIR/Themes

    (/usr/share/xournal/Themes)

with a name for each theme:

    /usr/share/xournal/Themes/default/

    and then the icon names:

    pen.png
    eraser.png
    highliter.png
    ruler.png
    hand.png
    and so on...

    Shouldn't tale long to implement

Okay, I'm going to tweak and wrap up my icons tonight hopefully, and I'll upload a package for you.

jMav could be the name for my icon theme... lol

    Cool! Thank you!

About the ruler icon.. doesn't it look like more like a comb ?

Guys, I was also thinking of another new feature that will see the light after the Summit. Screenshots.

The N900 has a camera button. You press it in Xournal and it can:

    a) take a screenshot of the actual Xournal window and use it as a background
    b) take a screenshot of the actual Xournal window and simply save it automatically
    c) go in screenshot mode, you hide Xournal, and press again to take a screenshot of the screen [or after 20secs timeout]
    d) after taking the screenshot it can ask you if you want it as a background or share it [email, bluetooth, you name it]

The behavior will be customizable [so it does what you want by simply pressing the camera button]. Xournal can also ask you what to do everytime you press it [or only the first time].

    Like it?

Screenshot or image of current environment; if you will a means to take a picture of a white board and then annotate it within Xournal. That would be a sweet fearure.

Indeed I was thinking to also put Camera in the options of where to take the background image from:

    - current window (it may be useful, but probably layers are a better alternative)
    - other screen window/desktop
    - camera (brrr, I hope I can ask the Camera application to take a snapshot for me and send me back the file name)

I like to make a "default" action that does all I want with the click of the camera button. Thus in the Settings you choose it and then select a checkbox "make it as default" (if unselected, it'll ask).
