This has been implemented in the latest fremantle5 alpha. It's still not in the extras-devel, I'll put it up tonight.

You guys should package the icon theme in your own package and upload it to Extras-Devel for testing.

They just need to use xournal as a dependency and install the set of icons under (for now fixed):

/usr/share/pixmaps/xournal/<themename>

You may want to ask the User to use it straight away, in this case you've got to change the "theme" entry in the config file:

under the [general] category:

from:

[category]
theme=default

to:

[category]
theme=<themename>

(case DOES matter)

I don't plan to change those paths, but may be I'll provide a small CLI utility that gives it back to you, or I'll figure out how to add it to pkg-config

This is such a great idea!

I think it would be one better, if the picture was an element on the page that could be resized, moved, annotated overtop/beside, etc. That way, if you were in the field, you could easily capture a snapshot, write some info beside it, and send it out as a pdf!

I'm not sure if this is what you had in mind...

Either way this is shaping up to be an extremely useful app.

Wasn't feeling very motivated to work, so i finished the icons lol, you may also want to use the separators I made, up to you though. I went with my own take on the hilighter icon, I think it's pretty obvious though.
