@allnames, I drew the n900 with a path, so it can be reused/scaled etc.
@fifferboy, looking great dude, can't wait to see it on my own n900 *sigh
@zerojay, if you need ui/design help, I'm always down in the name of the n900 lol

@fiferboy, can we right align the title with the other right aligned text, i think it looks more balanced like that. What about the white separator between the "rows"?

Fifer.. pretty sure you could reuse your source to do this IP address widget in no time flat. Joshua, come up with an icon... let's try to keep the design of these widgets consistent and similar all the way through.

Why not simply rotate it 90° counterclockwise? This would also make the arrows actually go 'up' and 'down'...

Used on Forum Nokia. Seems a slightly edited resized photograph, but it does point out:

1) Gradient in middle (top lighter than bottom).
2) Screen dark.
3) Edges have shadows.
4) Nokia logo is rather light grey.
5) Roundness.
6) Keyboard is shown, might not be preferred, although might differentiate device.
7) Slightly tilted, 15 degrees?

These are just my observations...

Version 0.3-2 will now actually use the refresh interval the user selects, rather than callously ignoring it like the previous version does.

0.3-2 is currently in extras-devel on it's way to extras-testing. Once it is in -testing, please rate it!

Some feedback for you (using the latest version from Extras-Devel):

The "Last Reset" field should probably display "never" instead of "Thu, 01 Jan 1970" when there has not ever been a reset for the data counter.

The "Update every" picker button is kind of weird: It says "seconds(s)" when you really mean "second(s)", and ideally you determine if you want to write "second" or "seconds" in the code and display it correctly in the list) Also, selecting any value from 0 to 60 seconds seems useless to me (and involves a lot of scrolling).

How about "Manually on click", "When switching the desktop", "5 seconds", "30 seconds", "1 minute", "5 minutes" and "10 minutes"? The "Only manually" option would update the widget when it is touched/clicked, and you can get rid of the label that says that '0' will refresh only when switching to the desktop.

The widget name when adding the widget is still "Personal GPRS Monitor" in the list of available widgets - you probably want to change that "GPRS" to "Dataplan" in the next release.

Apart from that, it looks really good already!

thp: Thanks for the feedback. "Never" is probably more descriptive than some date forty years before the tablet was made

I like your selector idea for refresh interval. I will implement that in the next version. Much less scrolling and more descriptive.

I think that it is already "Personal Dataplan Monitor" in the widget selection screen, it just doesn't take effect until hildondesktop is reset. I could be wrong, but a reboot should solve that.

Thanks again for the input.
