    went to the nyc store today. they had just performed an upgrade to the software. i don't have a lot to add except that i didn't find any bugs.

    i liked the software more than the hardware. i hope it'll be backported to the n810. i thought the screen was too small and got smudgy too easy. It was more responsive to the finger than to the stylus, which was a pleasant surprise.

    I didn't like the keyboard either, but then again i'm spoilt by my n810.

    Ahhh I see I'm not the only one who found the keyboard quirky...btw the small screen is an acceptable trade off.

    Yes as I remember the n97 manual released around May 30, the the n97s starting shipping like June 20th. So we will see if there is a pattern. Since the n900 manual was out like October 1, then perhaps October 20th the UPS guys will bring us our toys.

    Can someone check the OS version of this NY device? It's somewhere in Settings, About Product. And I think a lot of people are waiting for the dmesg output after boot.
