While trying to draw something for a friend on skype (on my desktop) I came across the WhiteBoard Meeting extra. One feature I particularly liked was the freehand mode. Like most applications it gives a pencil line but in addition it smoothes out your drawing, I tried a bit of freehand writing with my mouse and it was surprisingly legible, I suspect the code is closed but I was wondering/hoping if there was an open equivalent which in addition could be run on the tablets. It may be too heavy but I thought it was worth asking. I think it would allow for decent note taking without handwriting recognition.
