I haven't tried that, but I'm not surprised - FAT is not a fast filesystem, and having thousands of files on an FS is often a good way to show how bad it is.. but I haven't actually tried this myself, so this is all conjecture at this stage.

It actually is!! I have one 1Gb MMC in my 770 and another 2Gb MMC on it's way to my house address. It's actually being transported by a mail/messenger service. Don't know if it's DHL, UPS or any other service that is delivering it.![]()
