Has anyone had a chance to use the headphones that come with the n900? Id like to get an opinion on the sound quality. As I RUN ALOT HOW EASY IS IT TO SWITCH FROM MEDIA PLAYER TO PHONE.

Can't comment on the headphones, but the headphone amp in the N900 is incredible.

The headphones are pretty good. As they're intra, you always get the sweaty jelly effect, but overall, they probably outdo most £40 headphones.

That being said, the bass is absolutely amazing. If you run a lot, you won't like them. As always, intra + cord means every step produces a thump in your inner ear. Unless you're used to it (I'm not), there a good chance you'll have to boost the sound quite a bit. I usually don't go over half the power output, above that it's overpowering for my taste.

I have some cheap (<£15) seinheiser cx300 earphones. I don't get any thump noises when the cord is tugged or while jogging. Is this a common issue ?

@Vodrin:
Yes, it's common and the problem is called microphonics issues.

Most of the time it can be suppressed effectively by running the wire over\around your ears.

Are you saying that these are better than IEMs like CX300 and EP630?
