Do you see the black "sock" next to the Nokia 770 there?
That's 770 sock where you can put the 770 in. My 770 sock has only been used for storing the spare stylus so that it won't get lost.

II realize there's another thread for the N800 case but I believe that is more for the
"official Nokia" case. When I purchased my N800 att Comp I looked all over for one of
the afore mentioned cases with no luck so I just went through the store looking for
anything close and am extremely happy with what I found. It's actually a Case Logic PHDC1 portable hard drive case with a hard outer shell. It was at CompUSA for $19.99 It has a strap in the bottom and enough
room with the N800 sleeve on it to fit comfortably, and in the top there's a cargo net
thats currently holding my ear buds and USB link cable.

I actually tested this today, idiotically enough. I charged my N800 so it was full up, then stuck it in my pocket all day long so it would be ready to use at an instant's notice! Sure enough, at the end of the day it was completely empty of power because there was enough jostling at my pocket the whole day to activate the screen constantly, so in spite of the fact that I didn't use it one time during the day, all its power was drained.

I just got the case logic case that was recommended above and I must say that it works really well. It holds the N800 well and solves one of the biggest gripes which is that I can leave the N800 on, close it in the case, shake the case, carry it around, etc., and the screen does not bumped so as to turn on. The N800 stays "always on" but doesn't drain the battery. (There is a little elastic strap that holds the N800 secure without touching the screen). So thanks for this recommendation, I concur.

You're welcome! That really is a nice little case, even if it comes up a *tad* short.

EDIT: oops, just realized you might be referring to another post.

I just bought the Nintendo NDSL 100 for $9.99 in KMart/Sears here in the US. It was perfect for what I wanted to do with it. It essentially looks like a camera pouch but is tall enough to fit the whole thing in. It has two outer pockets, one for pens and the outermost just big enough to fit in the i-Blue 737 GPS unit. The flap fits over it and snaps into place near the bottom. It has a detachable neckstrap and a carabiner that can be attached to a belt loop. If I slip in the n800 button side in first, the unit can be in sleep mode and not be triggered by jostling. I also found that hte gps could still see satellites through the material (and this was inside a house). It's hard to find a decent picture of it but I found a good one on a German site:
    http://www.wolfsoft.de/shop/product_...ndsl-100).html

    It comes in several colors.

I agree, it's not that hard, and i haven't ever had the problem of my n800 loosing power by pressing power+square. It prevents the screen from activating when being touched.

I've been quite happy with the Otterbox line. For my 770 I have one that can hold both the 770 and my Freedom keyboard. Now that I've succumbed to getting myself a N800 also, I think I'll get a smaller Otterbox (from their 2000 line) and then I can alternate between the two boxes, depending on whether I want the keyboard with me or not (or possibly carry both the 770 and the N800 at the same time!).
