What you need to do next is download the xmodmap.conf file at the website. For me. it became saved as xmodmap.conf.html and I somehow couldn't rename it so I had to copy its contents and paste it to Leafpad and created a new file instead.

@DalLL
unfortunately the blog referenced has been removed. please can you attach the xmodmap file to your post? might need to zip it up.
TYVM, I would be very grateful for this as I have an interesting project on the go where this keyboard coupled with the tablet would be great!

Smaller (but I can't type on anything less than 2x the width of the tablet anyway), bluetooth, with the full PC keyboard (including numeric keypad though it is hard to use) for $31:

I've finally gotten it to work. just.
Have you installed xmodmap yet? Do this first if you haven't done so.
What you need to do next is download the xmodmap.conf file at the website. For me. it became saved as xmodmap.conf.html and I somehow couldn't rename it so I had to copy its contents and paste it to Leafpad and created a new file instead.
Then run the command. I saved the file in my n800's home directory so my command line is xmodmap /home/user/MyDocs/xmodmap.conf
I find the easiest way to run the command is by installing osso-statusbar-cpu and setting the commands. You can get it here.

Next, just plug in the (now useful) mini keyboard, run the command in osso-statusbar-cpu and no more numpad problems. Whew!
This was how i got it to work, though I suspect there must surely be a better way.
