Forgive my if I'm being thick.

Is there anyway to see how many downloads a package in the extras-devel repository has had?

I'm just interested in seeing how many people have downloaded my mSideShow application.

That would actually be quite cool. But unfortunately I don't think that functionality exists. I will make a note of your request and discuss it with Niels, maybe when we have brought the load down on our current infrastructure we can implement something that counts downloads.

Keep us updated.

I don't know what other developers think. While I would obviously find such a facility useful, I wouldn't call it an urgent requirement.

This kind of link seem work in OS2008 for extras-devel but it doesn't in Maemo5:
