Ok, so I was expecting this to be difficult to do since I've read up on everyone having issues with Windows Mobile devices but this is a little absurd.

Pairing my MDA (Vario, Wizard, etc..) with the latest ROM works, I see DUN and SPP in the modem control panel and I assign a connection with T-Mo's APN. Nothing.

So I went back to the wiki and read that there was a fix similar to the Motorola MPX-220 and to see that entry which said "*see note" or something like that but there was no note anywhere.

I ended up putting my SIM back into my old Windows Mobile Smartphone (Cingular 2125, a Tornado variant) and it worked the first try with no problem. The phone only advertises DUN but that's all I needed.

Is there any progress being done on this? I've only seen issues with the 770 OS2006 and didn't think that they would carry over to 2007.
