Hey Qgil and nokia. I just recieved the email about the device porgram. I cant believe it. I love you guys!

But in the email it says the discounted price is 300 euro so how much is it in us dollars?

I have already pre-ordered the n900 from amazon do you think i should cancel it?

    Thanks for everything.

qgil and the Maemo Devices Team,

Thank you for offering the device discount program again. I qualified, and I thank you for the invitation to purchase a discounted N900. I will ask one innocent question, and I hope that it is taken at face value. Can the invitation for the discounted N900 be used for any upcoming Maemo 5 device instead? If not, I understand. Thank you again - this and the Summit loaner program are very generous gestures from Nokia. Keep up the great work that you are doing for the Community.

I obviously don't slack enough at work to be on this board to get enough karma, although I have been on the boards since the 770 days....ah well.

No you cannot use it this is only for the n900 and it should be used before the end of the year. I dont expect the next maemo device to be released before the end of the year.

To the one asking how much 300 euros is in American dollars.

Try SEARCHING for the information. Google is your friend.

It took me about ten seconds to find a site that did the conversion.

Now, for those asking about company name -- just make one up. I have called myself Geneven, Inc a few times, when necessary. Be your own company!

There is probably still software that won't let you install it unless you give your company hame. What do you do -- send the software back for a refund? No, you just put something in that field...

Its not about how much 300 euros is. My question is will it be a straight conversion or is it like the sale price. For example the n900 was supposed to be sold for 500 euros in europe but it is only 650 according to nokia usa rather than the straight conversion which is 750$. I just want one single price so that i can decide whether to cancel my amazon pre-order...
