I can't believe I stopped checking up on this project.

Debian for ARMEL is now a reality:

http://armel-debs.applieddata.net/debian/

I imagine it will take some time before we can make use of these packages, and of course none will be hildonized, but it gives me hope

Cool, OpenOffice.org is in there! <snicker>

So, instead of waiting for hildonisation, why don't we get rid of hildon?

Different glibc versions will cause a problem, for a start.
