Hey everyone,

As the title says, I've been trying to get this torrent app to run, but to no avail.
I've installed transmission correctly, the app runs.
The ports on my wifi riuter are wide open (DMZ=N800) + opened up some ports to be sure.
I can surf the web, but the torrents just wont start.
I've got an 8GB and 32GB SDHC cards class6 inside.
The 32GB one is the internal card, and that's the one I'm using to store the torrents.
I've formatted both cards, but that didn't solve anything.
My router is a Dlink.

Anybody got any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your responses!

Which version did you install?

1.73-5maemo0 has a problem with uPnP (see here at the end). You can disable it in the settings but still seems not to work for me..

Qwerty12 (one of the developers/porters) in this thread points to 1.34 version (i.e. what's in extras).

hope it helps.

I seem to have one problem though, Transmission crashes when after 5 min the screen goes black...when i want the screen to be lit transmission freezes...

my N800 just downloaded two series, but it seems he's having trouble with a larger file.
Its a torrent of 6.4GB, but it contains 20 files not larger than 300MB.
I know FAT32 has a limitation of 4GB filesize, but this isn't the problem right?

anybody got any ideas?

Double click the torrent and in the files tab select only the smallest file. See if you can download that, then try the rest one by one.

Hm, i've tried everthing above but nothing solves it.
Tonight transmission magically started downloading the series again (6.4gig folder), completed 6% of it and now again the "could not retreive local data" comes up.
This is really annoying me to the point where im considering selling the device.
Torrent downloading was my main use for it, hence my disappointment with the device. Any remarks or advice is welcome!
I really want to like my downloadin tablet
