    Is there anyway to use the camera to snap .jpgs or other type pic? I really don't care about using it for video chat, but capturing a short video clip to play in the media player, or a few snaps would be great. Anyone thinking of developing such an app?

    Someone had developed a test camera application which I downloaded and used, but I had to re-install my software and lost it. It did take pictures and you could save an email them from the n800. I cannot locate the application on Internet. I've been looking. They will be coming out with programs that does take pictures (as jpg). If you find one, please let me know so I can re-install it. I'll let you know if I find it. Deal?

    Right after I wrote that message I found a thread which led to a download of a test application that does indeed work, unfortunately If you flip the camera around to take a picture it is upside down, and there is no way to flip it in the viewer. Here is the link:
