Thanks for all the feedback. I've gone ahead and promoted 1.0.7-14 to Diablo's extras and Fremantle's extras-testing.

If you have a n900, please try it out and vote on it!

Just grabbed latest version 1.0.7-14.

No new problems from earlier release.

Texting long sentences is still difficullt to manage.

I would much prefer removing the whole horizontal scroll bar and go back to simple text wrapping within the window.

Also, could you respond to a message using hildon keyboard?

You'll have a better understanding on the additional scrolling needed when using the virtual keyboard.

Other than that, it's looking good.

The problem is that it is set to word wrap. I played with it in different ways to characterize when it will bring up scrollbars and when it won't. Please file me a bug on this and I possibly will end up filing a bug on GTK over this issue.

Note if I remove the scrollbars it will just extend the text to off the screen.

I noticed that they have fixed up the alarmd stuff for maemo 5 so that will be on the list of next things to implement in 1.0.8

I'd really like to figure out is why the Messages Tab doesn't look like right
