the default internet phone on os2008 (icon with three people) cannot do video chat, is there any way I can make it do so.

I suggest using the Newbie link in my signature, and entering

video chat

In brief, I think it can only be done if you're talking to another NIT, though I'm not positive.

there are s few successful ways to go from N8x0 to PC. Although it usually take a little work to get it set up. When I travel I use it to video conference with my children. Here is a step by step link.

While testing it I had issues while in the same network. But as soon as I tried it from separate networks, it worked fine.
