That's PyQt and Nokia lost interest in it, focusing on PySide instead (which still has a long way to go before it matches what PyQt can do today). So, back to the question, the answer is most likely never, unfortunately, unless someone picks up the ball as a personal initiative. The biggest problem is that Qt and the bindings are pretty large, so would only cause trouble for people who have not cloned to SD (which is a large majority).
