Looks great! To make it loop on the device, I think you need to make a .desktop file, as described here. Also, there's a barely visible seam between the end of the fourth image and the beginning of the first. (I don't have an N900 to test it on, I just put the images side by side in the GIMP to check for seams.)

There's definitely a seam on the color bar as it suddenly jumps from green to pink.
