I've added the repositories but It doesn't show any new software to install
it seems like I am only showing one repository. why can't I see them?

I followed all of the advice above. I have GAIM and all associated files listed in the application manager now. I installed maemo mapper first. When I try to install GAIM I still get the message that I am missing libxau0. What should I try next?

Nope. Memo mapper does not install libxau0

3) Install the "libxau0" package, if it isn't already installed.

After installing this package you can switch the Application Manager back to "blue pill mode" if you want.
