I bet you would like a device with a glass screen which is very hard to scratch but then you get this slightly varied equation:
deal = screenbreaker
haha good one =)
although I do find glas alot better - my insurance only covers broken screens - not scratches XD Also its just much hotter to look at. Had a hero for a week and really loved the display
It's not even hard to see that the n900 is already scratched alot =(
If you look very closely to the N800 and N810, you can see that what's actually so scratched is the default factory screen protector. I know because mine still has it and looks like that. I can also say that my previous screen (that died and I replaced) had no protector and didn't get any scratch in more than 6 months.
the screen really is the dealbreaker for me, but because of its size. i'm not going to start using glasses just to use an internet tablet. instead i'm already looking for the next maemo tablet with a form factor like the n810, but with a slightly larger screen.

okay. see you next year when you found one. keep looking in the mean time. could pop out somewhere anytime soon
You're the first I've heard say this besides me! I like the more precise selection of objects the most. What makes resistive best for you?
First it’s much more accurate.
Second I do all my text in the Nokia 5800 by handwriting. I use my finger instead of stylus and it’s really fast.
I’m from Portugal but for Asian markets handwriting is even more crucial.
