Hi guys,

There a question that has been haunting me for several days now and can't seem to find an answer

Does MfE supports the flagging of emails for follow ups ?

This is something that is supported by MfE on s60 (see here : http://europe.nokia.com/find-product...l-for-exchange 4th line of the key feature).

At the moment I am using this feature on my E71 but through roadsync (I've asked them about their plan regarding maemo but they don't have anything schedule yet). It is essential to me as it allows me to remind me to treat emails later in the day (or even weeks later if I need to do something before answering) often with a reminder associated to it. Basically, it's a deal breaker for me...

So, does the N900 support flagging ? and does it support attaching a reminder to it ?

Thanks a lot for your answers !!

As a number of the people who have N900's may not be familiar with MfE can you explain how you might test this. ie I have an E71 and I am not sure how I would enable a reminder. Or if I need to do this from Outlook, how do I do this?

(cant say I have ever used this feature in Outlook)

When I receive an email on my E71 in roadsync (basically, MFE will do exactly the same), I can open the email and choose the option "follow".

I can then choose a time appropriate for the follow-up, be it during the day, tomorrow or at a time I choose (in wich case I can also add a reminder).

In outlook it will materialize by a little flag next to your email, same in my E71 mailbox where the opened or closed enveloppe on the left is replaced by a flag or a "check" mark once the follow up is done.

Mfe in N900 does not support flags. It just does not touch them. You can not set them, can not see them and can not break them :-)

Damn... there go my hopes...

Tx for your answer !

I can only hope some developper will have the genius idea of implementing them nonetheless
