I upgraded from XUbuntu 9.04 to 9.10 this week and had installed scratchbox for Diablo with Maemo sdk. After OS update I have the following problem during usage of qmake tool:

/home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: relocation error: /home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: symbol asin, version GLIBC_2.4 not defined in file libm.so.6 with link time reference
/home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: relocation error: /home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: symbol asin, version GLIBC_2.4 not defined in file libm.so.6 with link time reference
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
what(): St9bad_alloc
qemu: uncaught target signal 6 (Aborted) - exiting
/home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: relocation error: /home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: symbol asin, version GLIBC_2.4 not defined in file libm.so.6 with link time reference
/home/axel/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.5.3/bin/qmake: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: undefined symbol: __cxa_allocate_exception, version CXXABI_1.3

I reinstalled scratchbox completely new but the issues did not disappear. It must be a problem with the XUbuntu upgrade to 9.10 before all has worked fine over months. Who can help me? I need scratchbox to build cumulus, a soaring navigation software, (www.kflog.org) for the internet tablets N800/N810.

Bye Axel

No, I run XUbuntu in VBox on a X32 Vista Host. The update from 9.04 to 9.10 did at the end some cleaning, deinstalling of not more needed packages. Maybe scratchbox need some ot them? But which?
