Awesome news, my faith that somebody will get the camera to work (one day) is restored.

Just hope I have the patience for that to happen.

Skype has confirmed that the user interface will be open sourced, but customers have expressed concerns that the client's protocol may remain closed, according to the comments under the blog post.
So all the juicy bits are still in a (likely x86 only) binary blob. And Maemo 5 does not even use the traditional Skype user interface, does it?
