Here's the latest development in mobile platforms. St-Ericsson (ST-NXP Wireless and Ericsson Mobile Platform) announced their smartphone platform U8500. It has a Cortex A9 multi core processor and an ARM Mali 400 GPU. B4Tech has a diagram, features, and a samurai demo (got to have a samurai demo):
