How about Best Buy and Circuit City? Both of those stores carry cellphones, pdas, and computers.

They've been spotted in Fry's Electronics.

Should we expect a N800 sale at the stores that are closing?

Texrat, the reason why t-mobile would conceivably consider a wifi device like the n800 is that they also make money off their widely deployed WiFi hotspot network, found in Starbucks everywhere.

The compusa website has already been updated. When you search for a store, it'll show you which ones are in your area. Out of the 8 in Michigan (physically today), only the one in Lansing shows up.

I just got inside word that only 84 stores will remain open.

    But of course.

You forget I'm privy to a lot of inside info in this area, too.

Yes I got inside info that they will start next week with a 10% discount on all products than it will increase the discount as time progress IE: 10% 20% 30%

I wouldn't get too hopeful about the availability of discounted N800s at CompUSA stores. Odds are many of the closing stores won't have a lot on hand, and I'm betting employees will have the opportunity to snatch up product first.
