MoinMoin has been my wiki of choice because it stores its data in flat files, which makes it easy to sync between machines.

I have it running now on my n800. If you want to do the same, you need to install the Python package from here:

http://pymaemo.garage.maemo.org/

Then you need to copy the files in the attached zip file into the /usr/lib/python2.5/ directory on the IT. I used scp to do this, logging in as root. (The default password is rootme, by the way).

The zip contains BaseHTTPServer.py, SimpleHTTPServer.py, SocketServer.py, cgi.py and pydoc.py.

Then install the standalone server version of MoinMoin as per these instructions:

http://moinmoin.wikiwikiweb.de/HelpO...andaloneServer

Cheers,

Mike.

This is working well, except that I can't use it in offline mode. I've seen this mentioned in other places, but haven't seen a solution.

Is it possible to use Opera in when the tablet is in offline mode?

I have some flash pages which are stored on the device and offline webpages, too. They work fine in offline mode. But I can't connect to local http server(127.0.0.1). The connection manages shows up and the page does not load... So there are some problems with that
