In my local newspaper CompUSA said they would be closing half of there 229 stores nationwide because it wants to improve its bottom line. The article said "LIQUIDATION sales will begin as soon as possible".

CompUSA will still offer products ans technical services at 1-800-CompUSA
91-800-266-7872 and via the Internet at www.compusa.com.

I tried to post this to the news area but it would not let me saying i did not have the privileges.

I wonder how this will this affect warranty and replacement if they were purchassed.

I suspect it won't, you'll either have to ship it back to CompUSA or drive to one that is now a gazzilion miles away.
