Hello fellow Maemo lovers

Just thought I'd post a notice of caution about buying from a company calling itself Cesar LPP.
It all began in the start of October, when it was not official yet that the N900 would be delayed, and as no danish mobile providers had annouced they were going to carry the N900.

Because of this I looked elsewhere for a N900 and stumpled across an ad on a danish online classified advertisements site, from a guy called TrentElect or Trent Elect who asked to be contacted by his email trentelect@gmail.com (the ad is down now and no trace of it in googles cache, so a bit fuzzy on the name).

I wrote him an email asking for details, how payment was done, if he really had the nordic version of the N900 and so forth.
He wrote back quite quickly, but with what seemed like a standard response, then done by a person (or maybe it was just copy-n-paste he did), also, in the mail he said payment would be done by Western Union, which REALLY set off my scam alarm.
Also, he does not really answer my questions I ask, till I repeat them.

Another thing, is that at one point he sends a link to what seems like a directory of bussinesses in England with this link http://www.ukdata.com/creditreports/...anyId=OC336923
Notice that the following has changed:
Tel: +447024047504 --> blank
Status: Small, Unquoted --> Company in a pre-dissolution state
and some others as well, but those I thought seemed most significant.

But instead of writing an abstract of what happened, I thought I'd just post the various mails here. Hang on though, cause this is gonna be a long, but enlightening post (I hope) with all the mails being send back and forth.

Also, notice that even though he just made an inquery for prices etc, he keeps writing me, asking to me to transfer the money so he can send the package.

And in the end, he ended up contacting me over Google Talk, again asking me to transfer the money.

After this, I just had enough and thought I'd share it here + hopefully someone else will have their suspesions about Trent and this thread will pop up on a google search.

The good news is, that since then, a number of Danish carriers has decided to pick up the N900 so I have no need to deal with neither Trent or others of his kind

Hope someone finds this enlightening/usefull/a fun read
