thanks for the plug. this time the camera was properly mounted so that the N900 could be used with both hands. The presses were more firm than the previous video because I was being careful. I don't follow the use-case demonstrated in the video routinely.
N900 is aimed for business people and "tech geeks".
A young person (female mostly), walks into a mobile shop, sees the N900 and thinks "oh this is pretty...thick..eh..hmm :O! an iphone"..
You know what I mean? I think Apple are very good at marketing & making the device appropriate for all customers. 70% of the people buy with their eyes, because they don't care about good "high tech".
N900 should have made the N900 a tad bit sexier imho.
Thanks for the second video, archebyte. Still a few places where it didn't respond, I notice, although not as bad as on the first video. By the way, you don't need to double-click to switch to apps in the dashboard
What's happening at 6:53 when the dashboard thumbnails zoom out to much smaller than usual and the screen seems to hang for 10 seconds?
@tito_66: the phone app doesn't go into portrait mode if the keyboard is open.

Yup, I know only one click is required. as I menitioned previously, just taking extra caution.
Yea, I am not sure what happened at 6:53. usually the thumbnails after 12 apps start stacking up on the fourth row and a toolbar appears. this time it seemed to have zoomed out twice.
