Hmm... I have just paired my Sony Ericsson K800i (Bluetooth 2.0) with my N800 and the transfer speed for files is about 8kb/s Bluetooth 2.0 schould be capable of ~3mbits. At least 1 Mbit clean data transfer should be possible, but 8kb/s seems very very wrong to me.. Has anyone encountered same speed-problems with bluetooth phones?

I had same with my PC with USB-BT1.1 dongle with IVT BlueSoleil 2.0 BT stack on Windows XP. Speed was not 8kb/s but comparable and unnormal very slow rate. I use "ftp transfer" profile to file transfer between PC and N800.

Even with 1.1 you should get min. 500 kbit/s. Strange... I can't do anything but transfer files and have no profiles to chose. Actually it's the first time I tried bluetooth on my n800. I can't finde any place where to configure stuff like internet through bluetooth and so on. And my damn SE K800 wants to remote control my n800, every time... can't even disable this.

Now it works with ~50kb/s thats about 400kbit/s and almost BT 1.1 speed. The problem was having a established remote control connection with my SE phone.
But its not perfect... wheres the BT 2.0 speed?
