I think that's ad-block, rather than flash-block. Adblock is in the repository.

I asked already in the N900 owners thread the same question, but maybe I could also ask the same thing here.
Can you use google maps web page smoothly ? I know the Javascript on that page is hellish, and it puts n810 browsers to it's knees immediately, but what about N900 ?

I guess you're comparing theoretical maximum speed of EDGE, reality is much different. In fact the bandwidth is not the biggest problem, EDGEs problem is the latency. If you're browsing web, web pages are constituted from so many different elements that IMO the latency ruins the experience. Downloading a single file with EDGE is not that bad at all.

Can't proof this by some technical jargon, but to my experience 3Gs biggest gain for browsing was the lower latency.

I think the N900 is incompatible with North American 3G. That's the main reason I won't be buying it.

Uh, the main thing that got everyone in the US started on the N900 was its support for AWS North American 3G. Where you been, bro?!?

It works with TMobile, not at&t, 3g in the States.

Where have I been? Somewhere strange where I forget there are other networks besides at&t in North America. I'm still out of luck, though I am happy T-Mobile customers get to enjoy 3G.
