    Hi,

I just wanted to give a shout-out to the Xournal devs. I have been using it as a scratchpad almost since I got my N810, but a buddy of mine turned me on to the "hidden" feature of Xournal...That being that you can markup .pdf files.

I had to fill out some paperwork that was in pdf format, and instead of printing, filling out, and scanning to send, I was able to fill out and even sign the document on my N810.

Maybe this is common knowledge, but I didn't know until someone told me.

Good job to the Xournal devs!

That's been in Xournal for Desktop probably since its inceptions.
Thanks Denis, the original author for that.

I use it quite frequently on the desktop for marking up PDFs. Glad to hear Xournal for Maemo supports this too! Thanks Aniello, Denis and any other contributors.

Let me also point out for those who haven't used it that not only can you mark up PDFs but you can then save the marked up PDF as a new PDF. I use it to take meeting notes and then save a copy on my desktop PC.

Of all the apps on my N810, this is the one that is the most useful. With other apps that I use I find myself constantly wishing they would do more or do what they do differently.

Of course nothing's perfect and every "thanks" has a "but".

But it would be wonderful if it could interface with Evernote.

I pretty much want Evernote integration in any note-taking apps, but at least you can save the PDF and then email it to your Evernote email address to get it saved into your account. One of the best things about Evernote in addition to the API.

You can do that with Package 21 and the Share via Services button.

I looked at the Xournal for Fremantle thread ( http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=31779 ) and I'm happy for all those with the N900. Xournal would be one of the first apps I would install and Evernote integration will be great for those users.

Unfortunately, I'm using it on my N810. I guess I'll just have to see whether I can save enough to upgrade before you can finish the Fremantle version and then port it to Diablo.

    Thanks again for your efforts.
