This may have been mentioned before but I don't recall seeing it. (Unfortunately I've known about this since I bought it in Dec but used the functionality yesterday and figured I'd post it).

A lot of people were complaining about how slow bringing up bookmarks in the browser is. Instead of clicking on the bookmark icon on the toolbar, simply click on the same icon you used to launch Opera on the left. There's yer bookmarks in half a second.

Haha. Good tip for the new users. But I sorta figured that out myself from the first day I got my 770

But if you have it full screen mode you gotta shrink it to get to it...which sucks. But still faster than opening up bookmark app.

If I'm in full-screen mode, I press the "Home" hardware key and use the web icon from there: the bookmark will open in the last used browser window.

It's quicker than Opera re-rendering the current page in the window, choosing the bookmark then re-maximising, IME.

HTH,

I just discovered another way to get the bookmarks. On the N800, when in fullscreen mode, click on the little "world" icon at the bottom left of the screen (on the Opera status bar.) Instant Bookmarks! One less thing to gripe about

And all this time I've been going into desktop mode and clicking the "world" on the left toolbar.

(Perhaps everyone knows about this, no flames please.)

The icon on the other side gives you your session's history.

Is there an easy way to edit out the junk advertising that sites add after their name? I expected to be able to do that in Manage Bookmarks.
