There was an email sent out by MPD last week apologising for the delay, saying that 3rd Dec will be a despatch date and that if your order says pending stock it means that it has passed the credit check.

Just spoke to Nokia UK (0800 331 6021) and the depressed-sounding man said that they will be shipped tomorrow now. A very few have apparently gone out today, but the vast majority will be tomorrow. I have no idea if it's true or not, but if it's not, at least it's a different and pleasantly detailed inaccuracy.
