Subject: RE: Your Nokia N900 Order
Hi there,
Thanks for the notice at last, it is good to have a date. Im a bit confused though, as I thought you ran the Nokia Retail side of things?
Im also not very happy at the further delay, is it really going to be that late, the whole point of ordering from you was your advertising, stating that you would be getting it first and also as an exclusive. This is obviously not the case, I can buy it direct from Nokia now for delivery Tuesday, (I have just phoned them.)
Is this message a precautionary message and you might be getting them in earlier, because if not, I may have to cancel my order and order directly from Nokia..
Please advise
M

No one will have the handset until the end of the month as there are no handset in the UK yet to despatch.
Do you still wish to keep your order?
Kind regards
I've sent them a mail stating that Nokia have started shipping today so can they explain why they have no stock for another 10 days?
Lie, once the N900 starts shipping it will change to 'in stock' on the website...
It really shouldn't, but I bet you are right. If they had any sense though they would only change it to "in stock" after fulfilling all the pre-orders first.
Just got the email too, and can confirm my card has been charged. Nokia did say my card will only be charged once they have dispatched the item. Ordered it with Express delivery as I'm an impatient bugger.
Just to note.. I only ordered this on Friday 20th November 09.
Finally !!. Nokia guy I spoke to earlier this afternoon was right. Makes a change. Just checked my inbox and there it is 3.53. Soon come N900, soon come.
My credit card just bounced me, as it was outwith my normal spending pattern :-( if it loses me the discount i'll be furious
I got the same two emails, I've just spent 20 minutes on hold to them and the sales guy said that was the end of it, they can't revive the order once they fail payment. You will need to replace the order from scratch and you can't reapply any of the discounts.

I too have received an email from Nokia UK Online confirming that my order has been processed. My card has also been charged. However, no evidence (yet) that my order has shipped.../
To preface: I was fortunate (now unfortunate ) enough to nab the voucher codes.
After a 15 minute wait, I managed to speak to an operator too expressing my concern over having my order cancelled too due to my card being declined (which I'm certain that isn't the case, my card has been active and working). He was extremely adamant, and very quick change his tone to a seemingly hostile one even though I was nothing but calm - basically saying that I had to re-order on the website, that my original order cannot be revived and that any/all discount vouchers are invalid.
I'm convinced that this'd been sneaky deceitful play on their part and I'm guessing it's been the same for others who used the codes too?
