    2. To try and shut people up and fill the time gap, they shipped a small batch via air to a few markets. Nokia stores and their Dell direct channels got a few hundred each as an example.

    3. Most of the sumbiches' are still on a dang boat and based on the lack of channel fill and sell through to consumers, Nokia has been slow with unit velocity.

    Pi55 poor launch IMO.
If the phones are really siting on a ship, then it could be awhile. Average transit time from Korea to Calif is 18 days. OPK made his shipping announcement on Nov. 10. That puts the first container ships into the U.S. on Nov. 28.

You can calculate sea container transit times here: http://www.searates.com/container/tr...rt6=0&fport7=0

My Dell order updated as shipped sometime early this morning via next day delivery. I kind of feel bad slamming Nokia now.... Hug?

Several posts state that Nokia have been caught out with the popularity of the N900.

That must be the main issue, due to lack of real updates or significant sell-through velocity to consumers. Dell and Nokia got the first deliveries, but does not appear to be too many units.

My Dell order shipped shipped last night (or early this morning- not sure of their lag for updates). Dell gets theirs from Nokia direct channel distribtuion.

I just pre-ordered mine off Ebay a few day back. Hope to get the phone by End of month though, and my relative will post it to me from USA to NZ, I hope to get it a week before Xmas.

No idea when I will ever get mine..
