I tried compiling Mr.Philipp Zabel's PowerVR MBX test driver.
Look at dmesg and dream someday ti releases the real driver.

I've seen the real driver and let me tell you, there are some smart people trying to make it work (including pH5, Philipp Zabel).

Excuse me for the (probably) stupid question but: once this shiny GL driver will be released, will it work for the applications running under the qole's chroot envirinment?

It's not GL but GL ES 1.1.

    Fine.
So... Aren't we talking about 3D gfx acceleration?
    Why pointing out the difference?

Because there are no GL ES 1.1 applications in the entire Debian, so basically there's no reason for the GL ES 1.1 libraries/acceleration to be there.

What about applications that require 3D acceleration that run on N900? Would it be possible to port those on N800/N810 once we get the GL ES 1.1 support, even though those apps are written for GL ES 2.0?
How different are 1.1 and 2.0?
