Nope.. No joy.. Quite annoying if I ordered before yet receive afterwards :@ Something gone wrong with the order maybe? For some reason the balance of my credit card isnt available in my online banking so I can't see whether I've been charged yet
For those who ordered back in October and have not heard anything - have you rung Nokia? Many of the orders from back in October needed to be placed again because the system had the wrong SKU for the N900 for a while. The email they sent out to warn of this were confusing to say the least, along the lines of "we wanted to make sure you still want this product - contact us".
Yup.
If you got 5800 you're good to go lol just replace the batteries, charge the 'n900 battery' in the 5800
Instructions from Mugen Power Battery:
The first time, please charge the battery in the device for 12 hours using the mains power adapter. After fully charged, please use the device until the device tells you the battery is very low, then recharge. Repeat this process for 4-5 more times, where after you can recharge the battery whenever is suitable. Important: NEVER drain the battery completely to 0%
Not on the delivery service that has been paid for. If they try to deliver and you can accept then you can rearrange delivery to another address apparently. This is fairly common in UK at least: geared to the unemployed and people with one member of the family at home all day. Obviously if you don't work then you don't go out either! lol.
Yup, and of course you can't rearrange until they've tried the original delivery, failed, and left a card with a number for you to call.
And then you get home quite late from work, so you miss the time window for calling to rearrange for the next day.
So it finally gets to you somewhere useful 2 days later, minimum. Later if the redelivery gets sent to the wrong address because they're terminally incapable of noting amendments like "downstairs flat, ..." and keep failing to deliver to the door where nobody is ever in, upstairs.
Which, by the way, means you don't get the card with the phone number and the secret redelivery code on it. I had to use Google and some URL-hacking-fu to figure out a way round that one...
At least, that's been my experience with the last delivery from Nokia...
Mine is stuck on the M42 in the Rush hour. It had it's 'departure scan' from East Mids at 5:35. Allowing that it left shortly after that, it'll be lucky to make UPS Bodmin by lunch time. Though it's only got about 45 mins once it gets there.
I'm going to print out a page using the UPS logo to stick in the window telling the delivery driver to take it to the WOOL SHOP and not the charity shop. There'a already a notice on the door, but they seem able to ignore that. I might also drop a note through the charity shop door, asking them to tell any deliveries to go to the wool shop.
Isn't it a shame they can't activate the GPS so we could watch our n900s actually travelling!

I in Sweden can pickup my package from the UPS terminal if they cannot reach me at home or if it is in the terminal (the one close to home). I have experience with UPS since before (no phone yet though)
Can you guys do it?
Yes, but the terminals are usually quite far away, so you wouldn't want to.
