No Email, package not on UPS. Guess they just didn't get around to mine
Same boat guys. Had notification email, but no shipping email. I do have std delivery and have ordered extra battery. Nothing come out of my CC though either. Called yesterday and asked about status they said it should have shipped last night. I will call later today (10 am UK) and ask again. If you guys get any info please post.
To the people who have just got or about to get N900 in the UK, photo or it didn't happen. If you can pull the same smug expression as convulted then you will get extra karma. If you are camera shy then simply a photo of your N900 unboxing would be awesome.
Mine is stuck on the M42 in the Rush hour. It had it's 'departure scan' from East Mids at 5:35. Allowing that it left shortly after that, it'll be lucky to make UPS Bodmin by lunch time. Though it's only got about 45 mins once it gets there.
I'm going to print out a page using the UPS logo to stick in the window telling the delivery driver to take it to the WOOL SHOP and not the charity shop. There'a already a notice on the door, but they seem able to ignore that. I might also drop a note through the charity shop door, asking them to tell any deliveries to go to the wool shop.
Isn't it a shame they can't activate the GPS so we could watch our n900s actually travelling!
There is a freight route by air from East Midlands to Exeter you know - might just hop over that hurdle!
Mine has shipped! In retrospect I should have paid for speedy delivery because now I'm not banking on getting it until next week. Ha! Bumhug!
Oh, and one for the conspiracy theorists: I had a 30% discount. I guess you just have your banks and, to some extent, the delay between Nokia taking your information and payment to blame. Plain old boring Incompetence rather than exciting maliciousness, sorry.
