i ordered mine roughly 15 mins after merc248 did... you can tell when he ordered. on the image he posted, it says date submitted on top left
btw, congrats you lucky s.o.b. lol. next day shipping = friday you'll get it =(
rofl, thanks. That really blows btw, I'm hoping you get it soon. It's not unheard of (in my experience) for statuses to change between processing and shipped way later in the day, like 8-ish.
yup the pur n900 on backorder... i call customer care and they said they dont have enough for stock and its not possible that some one order from online today and the order is processed before who pre order it..
oh look, now the item is DEACTIVATED. Looks like nokia spanked them for releasing stock early. What a great fricking way to treat customers Nokia. Obviously there are units out there to be sold, someone just ordered one and had it shipped right away.
OH MY GOD! I am so fricking pissed off at all this crap. I noticed that newegg had the order button before reading it on the forums, and I ALMOST ordered it. But no, i decided to wait for friday, I figured they would ship friday, and if buy.com still wasnt shipping then, I could order from newegg.
I love my n800, and I desperately wanted an n900, Ive been trying to get one for so long, waiting and hoping. I dont deserve to get treated like this. I dont deserve this kind of hassle trying to get a fricking $600 device. Everyone that placed their order in november getting a device, but people that ordered it in sept or october just get the run around and fricking hassles.
THANKS A LOT NOKIA! I have been so happy with my n800, I installed Debian, so I could learn *nix, and work toward contributing to maemo once I got my N900. I already have a screen protector, extra battery, and SIM card for the n900 that I ordered OVER A MONTH AGO.
I just canceled my pre-order. I will not be getting the n900. I will never buy a Nokia product again in my life. I expect to get treated like **** from my employer, and my wife. I dont expect to get treated like **** from a company I spend $600 to buy a product from, who I want to contribute to their software!
