I'm buggered if I'm going to take that. I was told that it would ship on Wednesday, and it is now Friday, with still no sign of activity, so I'll be giving them hell a bit later on today.
I took two weeks off so I'd be able to get my phone and play with it. The first week was full of waiting for it to actually ship (since the dates they gave turned out to be utter crap), and this week has been full of yet more waiting.
Not a happy camper.
Taking 2 weeks off work is indeed quite extreme! I'd take it to work with me and play with it there on my breaks, but not take time off! You could have taken the time off later and taken your N900 on holiday or something!
Wow. That's a bit extreme. I'm as excited about the N900 as anyone. (In fact, I may be a little more excited than most.) But I'm not so excited as to take two weeks off work.
To be fair, I had to take the leave before December, or lose it, so I'd have taken it anyway. But I wanted to get down and dirty with my new toy, and do some work with it, too
