no proof I'm afraid, just a gut feeling...reckon they think they need to get their house in order before they can start telling people they are available for pick up....
I had today cancelled my pre order order with Nokia. After seeing all the issues with mail for exchange 2003 not supported on N900 on this forum and mic problems I don't want the hassle of a problem phone. Also don't want to have to deal with nokia after sales. I will, like you, look for an alternative phone or get N900 from phones4u next week in store then it is easy to return. Am interested in alternatives to N900 too.

I spent so much f****in time in London I just got back!
Right this is a loooong post but here goes.
Firstly, apologies to all those who emailed me asking me to keep them in the loop - I've replied to some and not to others and I feel bad but within half an hour of that message I received 80 emails on my blackberry lol.
Secondly, everything ShadowLFC had said is right to my knowledge however everyone you speak to gives you different information regarding when.
Last night i spoke to the same woman three times (I used three different voices) and I was told - Monday, Early next week, Early to middle next week.
Personally I'm expecting them in at the close of business today ready to be picked up over the weekend. However, that is just heresay and not confirmed.
As for getting something out of them I don't think it'll be possible except for the BH504s!
