Ah.. I just wanted to say. I ordered the device with UPS Next Day Saver. Well I thought I was going to have to wait till Tuesday to get the device because UPS was not picking up on the 27. But Newegg shipped my package Fedex Express which did not close on the 27... so monday it should be here. Yay!
I canceled my order with NewEgg. I don't blame Newegg though. I have years of good expereince with Newegg, a lot of years. This whole Launch was bungled Royally by those Idjuts in Finland.
Newegg is living in the BS world created by Nokia RE this Launch.
So I'll go on with the Egg for everything else but his purchase.
Ordered this past Tuesday, 11/24th, and received if via UPS early yesterday (Friday) morning. Kinda wish I hadn't now, it's not near as stable of a device as I expected. Guess this is what I get for early adopting.

It's probably fine. That instability is caused because all the people that ordered from NewEgg 6 weeks ago and are still on Hold are "burning Black Candles on your AZZ!"
Soon s they get their N900, yours will be OK.
Unless they don't get their N900, that would be bad!
Insane....I cancel my newegg order yesterday and reorder through nokiausa (I had to pay the sales tax, but other than that, the price is close). Fortune smiled upon me and I got my tracking # today and will get my phone on Monday!
Now I just hope that the one I get has a working microphone...

I have also had great experiences with Newegg. But in this case there is no one to blame but them, they screwed up pure and simple by shipping to people who ordered when the device became "add to cart" instead of shipping to pre-orders. Thats all them.
I couldn't stand it any longer and I've cancelled my preorder at Newegg. I ordered on October 20th, and had not received any change in status in my order. I then just realized that it's now listed $10 cheaper than what my preorder was ($549 vs $559).
Anyway, I've still got a preorder in with Amazon also which is at $529 for which I used $200 in rebates and have the $50 mail in bringing the total to $279. It shows it will be delivered after Dec 25th, which will give me some time to reconsider the whole thing since I'm getting more and more concerned about the issues which everyone has been dealing with.
