I cancelled my Amazon order yesterday and placed my order with NokiaUSA once they went to $569. So far I've been very lucky, ordered once, went through, and I just called and it has been released for shipment by FedEx. Now, I'm not out of the woods yet though, I never receive a shipment from FedEx on time because regardless of what I schedule with them, they ALWAYS come when no one is home with signature required stuff.....crossing my fingers this time is different!
windows 7 is nice but trust m ubuntu 9.10 is so much better...if you are not a gamer 90% of your all your applications can be found on linux...my everyday usage includes bittorrent client, firefox, zimbra suite, and skype all being cross platform, music is over banshee and movies over vlc media player...so for an everyday usage ubuntu rocks with only some speacial activies (khof iphone khof) i log into windows barring that linux all the way
Haha agreed. I beta-tested Windows 7, and I'm getting it to replace Windows Vista on my laptop. But I like Ubuntu 9.10 more.
I think this thread should go on, at least till Amazon and other remove Preorder links. I am sure a lot of us haven't got the device yet and its comforting to know the status of the queue.
