Place in line is taken somewhat into consideration, I guess. All I know is that I'm excited. I wanted to change my shipping to a faster speed, but for some reason amazon was charging me over $100 to do so (weird error in the system, Amazon still never explained it to me)

I am sorry but I must giggle...

I ordered from nokiausa.com on 11/28 for $620 with shipping and taxes and got a confirmation TODAY that it has been shipped as of 11/28. I even got a Fedex tracking number and it is currently in Indianapolis.

Honestly, I didnt even want it. I ordered it thinking it would say January and I would probably cancel. Now I am selling my N97 (for $300US) and will have my N900 probably by Tue the latest.

I agree, pre-orders should have gotten it before me but life is unfair. If you REALLY want this phone, cancel your preorder and order from nokiausa.com...period.

PS: I plan on offering it on Craigslist in DFW this week in case there is somebody it needs it more than me.

i would gladly join those canceling their amazon orders and going with one of the places that actually are shipping the phone, but unfortunately i'm stuck with amazon seeing as how i had about $300 worth of gift cards with them. oh well maybe the folks canceling with amazon will bump me up in the pre order line. i'm seriously so tired of looking at that not yet shipped status that i'm not sure i will believe it if it ever changes.

Same..... so tired of refreshing that damn page.
Right now I'm getting the N900 for $524 shipped 1 day and then the $50 nokia rebate on top of that..... whereas I would pay $640 on NokiaUSA..... just can't do it yet..... $160 swing.....

    yet...

i keep telling myself that i will just take a few days off and not check the status and that it will ship when it ships, but i keep finding myself checking several times a day. i wonder if i can sue for emotional distress...

what makes it especially tough for me is that i've never been involved having such a hard time receiving a newly released product before...it's not a lot of fun.

Honestly, between working, studying (for finals too), and playing videogames in what little free time I have time is flying. I'm more worried that I won't get it before Christmas arrives. My mom decided she won't use the phone since she said a calling card was cheaper.
