I got an email last night (Sunday) that my 'shipping soon' order from Oct. 5 had been sent via overnight to arrive Monday.

But the tracking shows it had actually been sent on Friday. So, it seems there can be a lag between when Amazon ships it and when you receive notification.

My order switched to 'Shipping Soon' yesterday afternoon ... I really want it to get shipped out ASAP now

Btw, did anyone here have to experience $87 for Standard Shipping .. ?!? Thats what Amazon first charged me for shipping, and then I had to spend like 1 hour on the phone to have the transaction authorization cancelled, and then re-order it with Free Super Save Shipping .. :P

Also, the repersentative told me that the shipping rate for 2 day shipping was $150ish, and for 1 day was a whopping $294 !!!!! :P
